Li Na Seals Historic Win Over Schiavone In French Open

What an exciting moment for Chinese tennis fans—This is historic. Li Na made sporting history at the French Open on Saturday when she became the first player from China to win a Grand Slam singles title.

The 29-year-old, ranked seventh in the world, made up for defeat in January’s Australian Open final by beating the Italian fifth seed 6-4 7-6 (7-0).
