Bob Hope #99 Pt. 3 - "Hip-Two-Three-Four!" (sheesh...)

Again, sorry this was a day late, sick...

R.I.P. Art Clokey 1921-2010

Finding out that Gumby was on VHS in the early 80s was the catalyst- I got my first VCR. The Gumby films Clokey made in the 50s live in a strange but wonderful closed-in world that only children with imagination inhabit and are full of danger as well as joy. Check 'em out, they gotta be on YouTube...
Hint- The red-eyed Gumby is the best...

Famous Monsters Of Filmland #31 - The Creeping Terror

I was going to post some Bob Hope (vs. Super-Hip!) comics but then I watched The Creeping Terror again and remembered I had this ridiculous article in FM #31 that features a synopsis that only barely resembles the film itself but does feature the original monster suit that mysteriously disappeared during pre-production. I've watched this film so many times I've memorized it. Please go here for a fun review over at 13 - Music From The Monster Movies.

Please check out the rockin' jukebox I got goin' on down there, it's the aural equivalent of getting sucked into the gaping maw of a giant monster and liking it!...
